It’s been a big year for Brandi Vezina. She landed coveted showcases at BreakOut West and Country Music Week, earned a spot in the Women in Music Canada Entrepreneur Accelerator, and was honored as the 2024 recipient of the Vince Fontaine Legacy Award.

Vezina is hitting the road with her Grit & Glamour tour, bringing her powerhouse vocals and raw storytelling to Ontario and Selkirk. This tour highlights her signature blend of unapologetic grit and heartfelt writing featuring a dynamic setlist that showcases her evolution as a songwriter and performer.

She recently showcased at the Manitoba Music Sound Waves Music Meeting and has performed on major festival stages, including Dauphin’s Countryfest, APTN Indigenous Day Live, Festival du Voyageur and the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival.

Her latest single, “Thinkin’ Bout You”, co-written with Styles Haury and Buddy Elliot, reveals a softer side. “Styles, Sarah, and I wrote this one about missin’ someone and looking forward to seeing them. It’s a great fit for country, Indigenous, and songwriter-focused playlists,” says Vezina.

Recent singles “Tornado in a Trailer Park” and “Old Fashioned Values” continue to gain momentum, landing on SiriusXM Canada’s Indigiverse and Top of the Country, as well as Apple Music playlists Boots & Mocs, The Lodge, Indigenous Now, and the Indigenous Music Countdown. “Old Fashioned Values” has now surpassed 300K streams on Spotify.
