Brandi Vezina is continuing to build big buzz in the music world this year. The award-winning Métis singer/songwriter released her seven-song EP Grit & Glamour in June, and garnered national recognition through Indigenous Song Camp in Toronto and the OHSOTO’KINO music incubator program at Calgary's Studio Bell. Brandi Vezina and Scott Nolan were honoured with the Manitoba Country Music Association’s Fay Walker Song (Songwriters) award for Paper Town. The song is at the heart of Vezina's EP, and inspired by true events, telling the story of a once-thriving mill town that lost its lifeblood when the industry collapsed. She'll also perform at the Coors Light Concert Series on November 14 during the 2025 Grey Cup Festival.
